The Ice Cream Cottage opened its doors March of 1990 and is located on Montauk Highway in historic Mastic, New York on Long Island. Since then, the Ice Cream Cottage has won multiple awards.

The summer of 2016, the Ice Cream Cottage won by popular vote the coveted Best Ice-Cream Cone on Long Island award in Newsday. In 2012, the Ice Cream Cottage's world famous Chocolate Overdose was voted the Best Chocolate Ice Cream!
